HEALTH WARRANTY/SALES AGREEMENT CONTRACT

 This puppy was bred in accordance with
The American Kennel Club (AKC)
registration requirement for purebred dogs.

This puppy is being sold with limited registration.
 Limited registration means that
any offspring of this puppy will be denied registration papers. This confirms to
the seller that this dog is intended as a family pet,
not for breeding. The puppy is to be registered with AKC using the
name Pawprint Garden in front of the buyer's chosen name.
(For Example: Pawprint Garden's Sparky.)

All puppies from Pawprint Garden Shih Tzu come with dew-claws
removed (not only front but back), de-wormed, first shots, shot record, 
AKC Papers, and puppy kit.

LIMITED 72 hour WARRANTY ON HEALTH

 This puppy is up to date on its vaccinations and deworming. 
It is buyer's responsibility to have your veterinarian
examine your puppy within 72 hrs of acquiring it. 

This contract is null and void if the new owners do
not have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian
within 72 hours (three days) of receiving it.

LIMITED ONE YEAR GENETIC WARRANTY

This puppy is deemed healthy by the seller at the time of sale.
 Health records will be provided by the Seller.
Any estimated size is established by the parent's
weight and size, and is not guaranteed. There are no cash refunds.
This policy does not cover death due to neglect nor abuse. This puppy is
guaranteed to be free of life-threatening genetic problems up
to one year of age. If it is determined by your veterinarian that
said puppy is afflicted with a genetic condition that is life-threatening,
the seller shall replace it with a new puppy from the
next available litter. Buyer must provide to Seller a written
statement from a licensed veterinarian to collect on this warranty.
Seller also reserves the right to have this puppy examined
by their own veterinarian. This warranty is only limited to the
replacement of the puppy and does not in any way obligate
Seller to any veterinarian bills. Buyer agrees to be responsible
for all veterinarian bills.

EXCLUSIONS ON WARRANTY

This warranty does not include coccidia and kennel cough
which is usually caused by bacteria and is common in
puppies that are shipped.  Kennel cough is self limiting
and like the common cold must run its course.  Full recovery
is expected and on its own kennel cough is not life-threatening. 
This warranty does not cover what in the Shih-Tzu breed is
considered normal: stenotic nares, cherry eye, under bite, and
both inguinal and umbilical hernias.

ADDITIONAL TERMS OF SALE

This  puppy is being sold as a pet, and may be shown in
nationally recognized breed or performance competition.
It is never to be used for any other purpose which would
include brood bitch or stud dog. 
Buyer agrees to be responsible for this dog’s emotional and physical care,
including proper vaccinations, nutritious food, and a positive,
rewarding environment for training.
Buyer agrees to house this dog indoors, regarding the needs of this breed.
When put outdoors, buyer agrees to provide shade at all times,
ample safe and clean water supply, and complete and secure fencing.

This dog is being sold as a pet only and must be spayed/neutered
at or around 6 months of age. "Fixed" dogs are generally more
healthy and emotionally stable. Dogs sold with
“limited registration” are not to be bred at all.

 

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  If the Buyer returns a puppy, the registration papers
must be returned and the paperwork necessary to
transfer ownership back to the Seller must be signed.

 If the Buyer returns a puppy, the Seller is not
responsible for their travel expenses or shipping charges. 
The Seller is not responsible for any payment of veterinarian fees.

If a puppy is sold with Full AKC registration rights,
seller cannot guarantee that a male puppy will have two
normally descended testicles at maturity.  Seller cannot
guarantee the fertility of a male or a female puppy
at maturity and it is impossible to guarantee breeding success,
show success, or house training.  It is the buyer's sole
responsibility for bills incurred from breeding this dog.

I the Buyer have read the Agreement of Sale; all of which I
understand and accept.
